Duck Hunting Senior Session | Grantham, NC

I borrowed my brother, Isaac’s, waders (they were definitely oversized) and clung to my camera for dear life. The last thing I wanted was to drop it in the swamp. I got stuck. I did fall. I (mostly) did not get wet. I laughed, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending part of the morning with these guys (Isaac stayed behind since I had his waders and Gideon and Maverick were the seniors).

I discovered that these three enjoy cutting up, talking, and hanging out in the swamp, maybe more than shooting ducks. I absolutely loved getting to capture them in their element, despite it being outside mine.

I will say I had so much fun on this photo shoot. If anyone else wants me to follow them into the wilds to capture them in their element, let’s go!

Who knows, maybe I should start offering up special sessions for my hunters.
