NC State Fair--Black and White Edition

You should have seen it in color…and you will.

But for now, enjoy moments from the NC State Fair (and prepping for it) from my lens in black and white.

I love color, but sometimes, photos speak to me more profoundly when stripped of their color. Black and white gets at the photos very essence. It forces you to focus on the subject and the emotions the photo has captured. Its simplicity is its strength.

And so, here are some of the moments from the NC State Fair, stripped of their color, ready to tell a story on their own merit.
